Health Policy Prof. to Speak at W&L

Kumpuris

Dr. Drew Kumpuris, a Little Rock cardiologist and professor of health policy at the Clinton School, will speak next Thursday about health care reform at Washington and Lee University, his alma mater. He will give a talk titled, “Healthcare Reform: Is this THE Fork in the Road?”

In addition to teaching a popular health policy class at the Clinton School, Kumpuris serves as medical director of the CCU and Step-Down Units at St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center, director of cardiology at Doctor’s Hospital and director of quality assurance at St. Vincent Medical Center.

Dr. Kumpuris and his sibblings have also supported the Clinton School through the endowment of the Frank and Kula Kumpuris Distinguished Lecture Series, named in honor of the mother and in memory of their father.
